THE FIRST COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS BY DEB BOOTS
This story began over 15 years ago. Tossing up whether to study interior design or go down the photography path. I had an idea to create affordable photographic based art for the home. But I needed to learn how to use a camera first. Then I fell in love with photography and it took me down a very different path. All the time still creating images that were worthy of hanging on the walls of peoples homes.
Tired of seeing mass-produced, poor-quality printed photographic art and also having a personal collection of images hidden away in the archives, it was time to launch my first collection of original images as limited edition photographic prints. Printing on archival, premium art papers was a key factor while still accommodating budget conscience art lovers and interior decorators.
Finally my two loves of pretty spaces and photography collide. I am excited to be releasing my first collection of photographic prints.
The collection has been tightly curated from thousands of images captured over several years. Inspired by travel, nature, colour and texture, with surprising quirky pieces that are unique yet contemporary. The selected images resonate with me personally but images I feel both interior designers and individuals will visually connect with and want to hang in a space in their home.
There is something for the contemporary apartment, city cottage, country farmhouse and beach house.
A little taste of what to expect …
Photographs are available as unframed, framed or canvas prints. Available in 4 sizes – 12×18, 16×24, 20×30 and 24×36. Custom print sizes are available too, just shoot me an email with the size you require and I will send you a personalised quote.
Unframed Prints are perfect for shipping throughout Australia and the best option for international customers so you can have the print framed by a local framer.
Framed Prints have a contemporary thin frame and available in Natural Timber, White or Black.
Canvas Prints are printed on canvas and stretched around a timber frame, then an additional Tasmanian Oak timber border is added for a contemporary look. All printing and framing is done in Australia to support local industry.
The archives are full of pieces waiting to see the light of day as well. New images from past, recent and new adventures will also be added over time. I’d love to have you along the ride so please follow The Print Shop either on Facebook, Instagram or sign up to the mailing list to be the first to see new collections and hear about exclusive subscriber deals.
